Described are designs, strategies, and methods for forming tubular battery packs. In some examples, a closed seal can be used to seal the battery pack chemistry within the tubular battery pack. This improves the biocompatibility of the energizing elements. In some instances, the biocompatible compensable elements in the form of such tubes can be used in a biomedical device. In some further examples, the biocompatible compensable elements in the form of tubes can be used in a contact lens. |
