titleOfInvention | Wear-resistant fiber, wear-resistant and impact-resistant fiber and its masterbatch |
abstract | A masterbatch of abrasion resistant fibers and abrasion resistant fibers made therefrom are provided. The masterbatch includes from about 90 to 99.5 parts by weight of the polyester, from about 0.4 to 9.9 parts by weight of the solid wear-modifying modifier, and from about 0.1 to 1.5 parts by weight of the coupling agent. The solid wear modification includes polydimethyl methoxyne or a derivative thereof. A masterbatch of abrasion resistant and impact resistant fibers is also provided, as well as abrasion resistant and impact resistant fibers made therefrom. |
