titleOfInvention | Liquid crystal alignment agent, liquid crystal alignment film, and liquid crystal display element |
abstract | The invention provides a liquid crystal alignment agent for obtaining a liquid crystal alignment film with excellent alignment limiting force, a liquid crystal alignment film obtained from the liquid crystal alignment agent, and a liquid crystal display element having the liquid crystal alignment film. The present invention relates to a liquid crystal alignment agent, which is characterized in that it contains at least one kind of polyamidic acid selected from the reactants of tetracarboxylic dianhydride and diamine, or at least one kind of polyimide polymer of polyimide. The tetracarboxylic dianhydride system includes an aromatic tetracarboxylic dianhydride, and the diamine system includes a compound represented by the following formula (1): (Wherein R 1 and R 2 are each independently a single bond, -O-, -S-, -NR 3- , ester bond, amido bond, thioester bond, urea bond, carbonate bond, or amine group Formate bond, R 3 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; A is an alkylene group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms, and -O-) may be inserted at one or more places between the carbon-carbon bonds of the alkylene group. |
