The invention provides a method for preparing an electrode assembly for a lithium ion battery. The method disclosed in the present invention includes a step of pre-drying the separator before the stacking step in the battery manufacturing process, thereby significantly reducing the moisture content of the separator. Therefore separators can be used to prepare electrode assemblies regardless of the conditions under which they are stored or transported. In addition, the peel strength between the porous base material and the protective porous layer is largely unaffected by the drying process disclosed in the present invention. |
