A cross-linkable coating composition comprising: a component A having at least two protons that can be activated to form a Michael carbohydrate anion precursor; as having at least two ethylenically unsaturated functions each activated by an electron-withdrawing group Component B of the sexual Michael receptor; and the latent formate starter of formula (1): n n n Wherein R 1 and R 2 can be independently selected from hydrogen, a straight-chain or branched substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 22 carbon atoms and 1 to 8 carbon atoms; and An + is a cationic species or The polymer and n are integers equal to or greater than 1, with the restriction that An + is not acidic hydrogen; and optionally further contains ammonium carbamate (H 2 NR 1 R 2 + -OC = ONR 1 R 2 ). The crosslinkable coating composition can be used in various coating applications, including nail coating compositions. |
