titleOfInvention Method for manufacturing embedded sample block and sample test piece
abstract A method of manufacturing an embedded sample block includes providing a carrier. The carrier has a sample receiving area and a marking area, and the sample receiving area has a first recess and the marking area has a second recess. The sample is placed in the first recess. A template is formed that stands on the periphery of the carrier. The template surrounds the sample receiving area and the marking area and forms an opening exposing the sample, the first groove and the second groove. A molding material is formed in the opening to coat the sample and fill the first groove and the second groove. The molding compound is cured and the template is removed to obtain an embedded sample block. In addition, a sample test piece formed by embedding a sample piece of a sample block is also mentioned.
