titleOfInvention Apparatus and method for reprocessing a medical device
abstract An apparatus and method for reprocessing a medical device includes a cleansing basin, a first irrigation conduit, a second irrigation conduit, and a manifold. The first irrigation catheter and the second irrigation catheter have respective first and second coupling interfaces configured to be fluidly coupled to the medical device, the medical device being positioned within the purification basin. The manifold is fluidly coupled to the first irrigation conduit and the second irrigation conduit and is configured to be distributed correspondingly to the fluid received in the manifold. The apparatus also includes a first valve, a second valve, and a primary pump configured to discharge the fluid into the manifold at a predetermined supply flow rate. The first valve and the second valve are respectively positioned in the first irrigation conduit and the second irrigation conduit for balancing respective flow rates discharged therefrom according to a first predetermined conduit flow rate and a second predetermined conduit flow rate.
