abstract |
The invention provides a liquid crystal alignment agent for obtaining a liquid crystal alignment film having both mechanical strength and liquid crystal alignment properties of the film, a liquid crystal alignment film obtained by using the liquid crystal alignment film, and a liquid crystal display element including the liquid crystal alignment film. The present invention provides a liquid crystal alignment agent, which contains a polyimide precursor selected from a polyimide precursor having a structural unit represented by the following formula (1) and a polyimide polymer of the polyimide precursor. A group of at least one polymer, a compound represented by the following formula (3), and an organic solvent (the definitions of the symbols of the formulas (1) to (3) are as described in the description). |
