titleOfInvention | Touch panel and its making method |
abstract | A method for fabricating a touch panel includes forming a transparent conductive layer on a first substrate, forming a first patterned protective layer on the transparent conductive layer, and forming a metal layer on the first patterned protective layer and the transparent conductive layer. A second patterned protective layer is then formed over the metal layer, wherein the first patterned protective layer includes an overlap that overlaps a portion of the second patterned protective layer. Performing a patterning process to remove the metal layer not covered by the second patterned protective layer and the transparent conductive layer not covered by the first patterned protective layer or/and the second patterned protective layer to form the touch sensing electrode , the lower wire and the upper wire. The second patterned protective layer and the first patterned protective layer not covered by the metal layer are removed, and the overlap of the first patterned protective layer is left. |
