An object of the present invention is to provide a curable composition capable of forming a cured film with excellent linearity of a pattern, a light-shielding film formed using the curable composition, a color filter, a solid-state imaging device, and an infrared sensor. . Another object of the present invention is to provide a pattern forming method using the curable composition and a method for producing a color filter. The curable composition of the present invention contains: a coloring agent that absorbs visible light; a coloring agent that absorbs infrared light; a polymerizable compound; and a photopolymerization initiator; and the coating film of the hardenable composition is in a region of a wavelength of 380 nm to 1100 nm. The minimum value of the optical density per 1 μm film thickness is 1 or more, and the D optical density obtained by the formula (1) is 1 or less. Formula (1) D optical density = | OD1-OD2 | In formula (1), OD1 represents the minimum optical density per 1 μm film thickness of the coating film in a region with a wavelength of 380 nm to 780 nm, and OD2 represents The minimum value of the optical density per 1 μm film thickness in a region where the wavelength of the coating film exceeds 780 nm and is 1100 nm or less. |
