abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a method for extracting calcium from a steelmaking slag, which can extract a larger amount of calcium from a steelmaking slag into an aqueous solution containing carbon dioxide. The present invention sequentially performs a step of performing a hydration treatment on a calcium compound contained in the steelmaking slag, and a step of contacting the steelmaking slag subjected to the hydration treatment with an aqueous solution containing carbon dioxide. In the present invention, the steel-making slag is pulverized, or the surface of the steel-making slag is ground, and the aqueous solution containing carbon dioxide is brought into contact with the steel-making slag. With these methods, a larger amount of calcium can be easily eluted from the steelmaking slag into an aqueous solution containing carbon dioxide. |
