abstract |
A method for increasing or improving oil recovery comprises injecting a miscible injection fluid having a mixture of unfractionated hydrocarbons into a hydrocarbon containing formation through an injection well. The mobile control fluid is simultaneously and/or continuously injected into the hydrocarbon containing formation. The residual hydrocarbons in the hydrocarbon containing formation are moved and displaced by the miscible injection fluid and/or the mobile control fluid to the recovery well so that residual hydrocarbons are recovered to the surface. |
