titleOfInvention System and method for identifying working fluids
abstract Systems and methods are provided for identifying working fluids. The system and method include exposing at least a portion of a working fluid comprising a UV reactive chemical marker to light having a wavelength in the range of from about 10 to 400 nm, thereby causing the chemical marker to generate a signal. The signal can be detected by a sensor system and compared with a reference signal derived from a real working fluid. An output can be generated to indicate whether the working fluid is a real working fluid.
