abstract | The present invention provides a solid catalyst component for olefin polymerization, which is a solid catalyst component containing an electron donating compound other than a phthalate ester, and an olefin based on the case where a phthalic acid ester is used as an electron donating compound. The polymerization activity is equivalent, and the primary physical properties such as the stereoregularity or molecular weight distribution of the obtained polymer are equivalent. The solid catalyst component for olefin polymerization of the present invention is characterized by containing a magnesium atom, a titanium atom, a halogen atom, an ester compound represented by the general formula (1) (A), and a diester compound represented by the general formula (2). (B); the ratio represented by the following formula is 0.05 to 50; (content of the ester compound (A) (% by mass) / content of the diester compound (B) (% by mass). |
