titleOfInvention | Method for improving the light stability of a flexographic printing plate characterized by flat vertices |
abstract | The present invention discloses a photocurable stereo image printing blank comprising: (a) a support layer; (b) one or more photocurable layers disposed on the support layer, wherein the one or more layers of light hardening The layer comprises: i) a binder; ii) one or more monomers; iii) a photoinitiator; iv) an additive selected from the group consisting of phosphites, phosphines, thioetheramine compounds, and combinations of one or more of the foregoing a group consisting of; and v) an additional component comprising an amine moiety; (c) a laser ablative mask layer disposed on the one or more photocurable layer, the laser ablative mask layer comprising a transmission line material; and (d) a removable cover sheet as appropriate. Through exposure and development, the resulting stereo image printing element does not degrade under ambient UV light for a long time. |
