abstract The present invention provides a fluorine-containing polyether-based polymer modification which can form a water-repellent oil-repellent layer which is excellent in abrasion resistance even under mild hardening conditions such as room temperature hardening on a resin surface. A surface treatment agent for decane and/or a partially hydrolyzed condensate thereof, which is subjected to surface treatment. A polymer residue containing a polymer residue of the formula (1) □ [Rf is a monovalent or divalent fluorine-containing polyether group, and Y is a divalent structure having a decane olefin bond, a fluorene alkyl group structure or a fluorene aryl structure. To a hexavalent hydrocarbon group, R is an alkyl group or a phenyl group, X is a hydrolyzable group, n is 1 to 3, m is 1 to 5, Z is a hydrogen atom or □ (R' is the same as R, and X' is X Similarly, W is the same as Y, a is 0 to 3, b is 1 to 5, E is a monovalent organic group), and α is 1 or 2] is a fluorine-containing polyether-based polymer modified decane.
