The invention provides a method for treating an individual suffering from lung cancer, the method comprising administering to the individual a therapeutically effective amount: (a) specifically binding to a programmed death-1 (PD-1) receptor and inhibiting PD-1 activity An antibody or antigen binding portion thereof; and (b) an antibody or antigen binding portion thereof that specifically binds to cytotoxic T lymphocyte antigen-4 (CTLA-4) and inhibits CTLA-4 activity. |
