abstract |
This invention relates to a conductive composition for low frequency EMI shielding. The EMI shielding composition of the present invention comprises a resin (including a thermoplastic resin and/or a thermosetting resin), a solvent and/or a reactive diluent and particles, wherein the particles comprise a mixture of magnetic particles and conductive particles or a magnetic material coated with a conductive material. A mixture of particles or conductive particles coated with a conductive material and wherein the composition comprises > 10% by weight of magnetic particles based on the total weight of the composition. The EMI shielding compositions of the present invention have good electrical and magnetic permeability and are suitable as a drop-in solution for EMI shielding over a wide range of frequencies, and especially at low frequencies. |
