abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a preparation for reducing the acid value of the edible oil after use which is effective for the regenerating agent of the edible oil after use, and a method for regenerating the edible oil after use thereof. The preparation for reducing the acid value of the edible oil after use of the present invention has a hydrotalcite compound as an active ingredient and has a deoxidizing ability of lowering the acid value by 70% or more. Further, it has a decolorizing ability of reducing the yellow chromaticity caused by deterioration by 15%. The hydrotalcite compound is calcined at 150 to 400 °C. The hydrotalcite compound is granulated to have an average particle diameter of 50 to 200 μm. |
