abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a polymer compound for a conductive polymer which is soluble in an organic solvent and is suitable for use as a blending agent for a fuel cell or a conductive material. The solution is a polymer for a conductive polymer containing a polymer compound for a conductive polymer of the above-mentioned general formula (1) and having a weight average molecular weight of 1,000 to 500,000. Compound. □ (wherein R1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and R2 is a single bond or an ester group, or a linear, branched or cyclic group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms which may have either or both of an ether group and an ester group. Any one of the hydrocarbon groups. R3 is a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and one or more hydrogen atoms in R3 may be substituted by a fluorine atom. Z is a single bond, a phenyl group, and a naphthene. Any of a group, an ether group, and an ester. a is 0 < a ≦ 1.0).
