titleOfInvention Device and method for intubation delivery therapeutic material application device
abstract Methods and systems for performing an ocular surgical procedure include one or more wicking members to secure a volume of therapeutic fluid to the distal end of the surgical procedure. Such a surgical instrument can include an elongate tubular member having a proximal end, a distal end, and a lumen extending therebetween, the elongate tubular member configured to penetrate a body lumen of a patient. The surgical instrument can further include a wicking member that extends beyond the distal end of the elongate tubular member. The wicking member can be configured to secure a volume of therapeutic fluid delivered through the lumen to the wicking member for application to the target population tissue within the body lumen from the wicking member.
