abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a polarizing plate with an adhesive layer which is excellent in reliability of optical characteristics and adhesion durability. The polarizing plate with the adhesive layer is provided with an adhesive layer directly on at least one side of the polarizing film, and the adhesive layer is composed of an adhesive composition containing an adhesive polymer, and constitutes a single monomer of the adhesive polymer. The amount of the acid component in the ingredients is less than 8% by weight.
