| abstract |
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal display device using a liquid crystal composition having a positive dielectric conductivity which does not cause dielectric constant, viscosity, and nematic phase upper limit temperature. The nematic phase stability at a low temperature, the characteristics of the liquid crystal display element such as γ1, and the residual image characteristics of the display element are deteriorated, and excellent display characteristics can be realized by using the liquid crystal display element. A liquid crystal composition comprising at least one of a group of compounds represented by the general formula (i) as a first component and a group of compounds represented by the general formula (ii) and the general formula (iii) At least one of them is the second component. |
