The present invention provides a packaging material for a battery which has no problem of a pot life and a limitation of production conditions, and which is excellent in electrolyte resistance, and a battery using the same. Specifically, the present invention provides a packaging material for a battery, which is formed by laminating a barrier layer, an adhesive layer and a sealant layer in sequence, wherein the adhesive layer contains an acid value of 5 to 50 mgKOH/g-resin. A reaction product of an acid-modified polyolefin (A), a glycidyl epoxy resin (B1), and a glycidyl ether epoxy resin (B2). |
