The present invention provides a process for producing N-vinylcarboxylic acid decylamine having a thermal decomposition step of thermally decomposing N-(2-oxyethyl)carboxylic acid decylamine in the presence of a solid catalyst. Preferably, the N-(2-oxoethyl)carboxylic acid decylamine is synthesized by reacting 2-oxoethylamine with a mercapto compound. |
