An object of the present invention is to provide a white polyester film for a solar cell, a solar cell back sealing sheet and a solar cell module using the same, which have high whiteness and good light resistance and hydrolysis resistance. At the same time, the transfer mark is excellent in shielding properties (it is difficult to see the unevenness of the transfer). The white polyester film for solar cells of the present invention has a whiteness of 50 or more, an average reflectance of 50 to 95% in a wavelength range of 400 to 800 nm, an acid value of 1 to 50 eq/ton, and a thickness of 30 to 380 μm.
