abstract | The present invention provides a modification method of a reverse osmosis membrane for suppressing deterioration of a reverse osmosis membrane and improving permeation quality of a reverse osmosis membrane. The reverse osmosis membrane is modified by contacting a reaction product of a bromine-based oxidizing agent or a bromine compound with a chlorine-based oxidizing agent and a sulfanilic acid compound with a polyamine-based reverse osmosis membrane, or a "bromine-based oxidizing agent or a bromine compound and chlorine. The reaction product of the "reactant of the oxidizing agent" and the "sulfonate compound" is contacted with a polyamine-based reverse osmosis membrane. |
