titleOfInvention | Composition containing fusion protein of albumin and its analogs, preparation thereof and use method thereof |
abstract | The present invention relates to a fusion protein of human somatostatin (for example, SST-14 or SST-28) and human serum albumin, which comprises a region at least 85% homologous to human somatostatin and at least 85 with human serum albumin. % homologous region or a region having a partial amino acid sequence of human serum albumin, wherein the linker peptide sequence may be present between the somatostatin and the somatostatin moiety or between the somatostatin and the albumin moiety. Constructs are also disclosed wherein the somatostatin moiety comprises a plurality of tandem repeats of a somatostatin sequence. In selected embodiments, the orientation of the somatostatin and albumin moieties can be altered, and such sequences can affect the binding and potency of the disclosed fusion proteins. The preparation and use of the above-mentioned structures are also disclosed. |
