Identification of male fertility status by measuring sperm capacitation |
abstract |
The present invention provides a method of determining the state of male fertility. The method comprises determining a GM1 distribution pattern after induced sperm capacitation, identifying a distribution frequency of the various modes, and determining whether the frequency distribution of certain GM1 patterns in response to the induced capacitation changes. The male fertility state can be identified based on changes in the frequency distribution pattern of certain patterns in response to induced gain alone or in combination with other sperm attributes. |
