The present invention relates to novel macrocyclic compounds and compositions containing the same, which act as inhibitors of kinases, particularly LRRK2 (rich in leucine repeat kinase 2). Furthermore, the invention provides methods of preparing the compounds of the invention, and methods of use thereof, for example, as pharmaceutical or diagnostic agents, particularly for the treatment and/or diagnosis of diseases characterized by LRRK2 kinase activity, such as neurological disorders, including Parkinson's disease (Parkinson's disease) and Alzheimer's disease. |
