| abstract |
The package for delivering a single dose product comprises a soft gel capsule comprising at least one gelling agent selected from the group consisting of protein based gelling agents and polysaccharide based gelling agents. The capsule shell includes one or more regions having a reduced thickness, the regions being preferentially broken by applying a compressive force on the soft gel capsule to create an opening in the capsule shell, which may be sprayed or extruded The opening delivers the filler composition. Also described herein is a method of making the soft gel capsule having one or more regions having a reduced shell thickness. |
