titleOfInvention | Resistive cholesterol sensor based on conductivity change of conductive polymer and measuring method thereof |
abstract | A resistive cholesterol sensor comprising a substrate, a conductive polymer layer and a cholesterol oxidase layer. The cholesterol sensor of the present invention generates hydrogen peroxide by reacting cholesterol and cholesterol oxidase after applying a liquid sample. The generated hydrogen peroxide can oxidize the peroxidase, and the peroxidase is reduced by oxidizing the conductive polymer, thereby causing a decrease in the conductivity of the conductive polymer and measuring the cholesterol concentration of the liquid sample. The present invention can be developed as a miniaturized and disposable electronic micro-sensor with high sensitivity and fast response, which can detect cholesterol values in a typical physiological environment for routine monitoring. |
