abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a fermented milk which is a solid material such as cereal which allows a consumer to ingest food without difficulty, a method for producing the same, and the like. The method for producing a fermented milk to which the solid material according to the present invention is added has a sterilization step and an addition step. In the sterilization step, the solid material is sterilized. In the adding step, the solid material is added to the fermented milk. It is preferred to add water to the solid material during the sterilization step or to add the solid material to the acidic water. In addition, it is preferred that the number of bacteria added to the fermented milk obtained by the method for adding fermented milk by the solid material is 1×107.nAbove cfu/g.
