titleOfInvention | Block copolymer comprising copolymerized lauryl block |
abstract | A block copolymer comprising: at least one monoalkenyl arene monomer polymer block (A) and a copolymer block (B) comprising myrcene, the copolymer block B also comprising: a) at least one a conjugated diene monomer having a molecular weight lower than that of myrcene, or b) at least one monoalkenyl arene monomer, or a mixture of c) a) and b).nThe polymer block A can be a copolymer block. When the polymer block A is a copolymer block, both block A and the copolymerized lauryl block copolymer B can have a random, tapered or controlled comonomer distribution configuration. The block copolymer can be selectively or thoroughly hydrogenated. The block copolymer can be used to prepare adhesives and vibration damping compositions. |
