Treatment method for drainage containing free chlorine |
abstract |
The present invention provides a method of efficiently treating drainage containing free chlorine caused by sterilization or the like while preventing deterioration of the polyamine-based RO membrane. In the present invention, after a chlorine-binding agent is added to a drain containing free chlorine, it is treated with a reverse osmosis membrane. The chlorinating agent is preferably an amine sulfonic acid or a salt thereof, which is a drug containing a nitrogen compound which forms chlorine. Further, it is preferred to use a chlorine-based oxidizing agent which is a free chlorine agent formulated with an aminosulfonic acid or a salt thereof. As the chlorine-based oxidizing agent, hypochlorous acid or a salt thereof is preferred. Such a chlorine-binding agent is preferably added after adjusting the pH of the drain containing free chlorine to 7.5 or less. |
