abstract An alarm method for a respirator and a respirator alarm system, wherein the method comprises the following steps. First, multiple breathing parameters are received and detected. If the highest pressure of the respiratory tract in the breathing parameter meets the first condition, it is determined whether the airway plain pressure meets the second condition, wherein the first condition is Y(k+1), Ppeak>Yk, mean, Ppeak+3*Yk, sd, Ppeak, the second condition is Y(k+1), Pplateau<Yk, mean, Pplateau+3*Yk, sd, Pplateau. If the airway plain pressure does not meet the second condition, a static blockage alarm is initiated. If the airway plain pressure meets the second condition and the expiratory flow in the breathing parameter meets the third condition, a dynamic blockage alarm is initiated.
