Embodiments of the dermatological cosmetic treatment and/or imaging system and method can include using a transducer to create a linear heat treatment zone at the depth of focus to form a ribbonized treatment site. The system can include one or more ultrasonic transducers, cylindrical transducer elements, imaging elements, canes, removable transducer modules, control modules, and/or graphical user interfaces. In some embodiments, a coating transducer can be used to provide a more consistent treatment during a cosmetic procedure including forehead lifting, fat reduction, sweat reduction, and neck wrinkle treatment. Provides skin tightening, lifting and wrinkles with improved stretch marks. Treatment can include heating the tissue for a period of time to inactivate a portion of the cells in the treated area. |
