The main object of the present invention is to provide a thermosetting composition having a photo-alignment property which is excellent in stability of liquid crystal alignment and which is low-temperature-curable, and an alignment layer using the alignment layer and a substrate having an alignment layer. Phase difference plate and device.nThe present invention achieves the above object by providing the following thermosetting composition having photo-alignment properties. The thermosetting composition having photo-alignment properties contains a copolymer of a photo-alignment constituent unit and a thermally crosslinkable constituent unit; and the thermally crosslinkable constituent unit is a thermally crosslinkable group via a carbon number of 4 to 11 The chain is extended to an alkyl group, or a polyethylene glycol group having a repeat number of 2 to 5 is bonded. |
