The present invention provides a method for producing an acrylic copolymer which can reduce the amount of a monomer remaining in a copolymer produced by a suspension polymerization method.nThe method for producing an acrylic copolymer of the present invention is a method for producing an acrylic copolymer by suspension polymerization comprising a reaction system comprising a dispersed phase of a monomer mixture and a dispersion medium, the monomer mixture comprising as the first monomer a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester monomer, and a monomer other than the (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester monomer as the second monomer, and the dispersed phase contains a good solvent for the monomer mixture and The acrylic copolymer is a saturated hydrocarbon solvent which is a poor solvent. |
