The invention discloses a preparation method of alumina, belonging to the technical field of chemical materials. The preparation method comprises the following steps: firstly reacting the raw material aluminum with an aqueous solution of an organic alkali, and after filtering, calcining and dehydrating, the formed alumina has been purified, and most of the impurities are removed; in particular, the raw material aluminum reacts with the aqueous solution of the organic alkali. When the wrong agent is added, the purity of the produced alumina is further improved. The alumina powder is further washed, filtered, and dried, and the impurities present in a small amount are further removed to obtain an ultrapure alumina slurry. It is lifted before the mud is obtained, and after molding and calcination, a high purity and high density alumina solid is finally obtained. The high-purity alumina produced by the invention has high purity, and satisfies the requirement that the total content of the metal element and the cerium element other than the aluminum element in the high-purity alumina solid is not more than 0.005% and the density is not less than 3.0 g/cm3. |
