The present invention provides an anode active material for a lithium secondary battery comprising a ruthenium-based composite material formed of ruthenium (Si) and crystalline SiO 2 , wherein the Si and crystalline SiO 2 are in the form of crystal grains; a preparation method thereof; A lithium secondary battery containing the anode active material.nSince the anode active material according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a ruthenium-based composite material containing Si and SiO 2 in a grain state and the SiO 2 is crystalline SiO 2 , the reaction between the amorphous SiO 2 and lithium in the electrolytic solution can be excluded. Therefore, since the ruthenium-based composite material contains crystalline SiO2, when the ruthenium-based composite material is used as an anode active material, excellent capacity characteristics of the secondary battery can be maintained and initial efficiency and life characteristics can be improved. |
