abstract |
The fluorescent substance according to the present embodiment is substantially represented by (M1-xECx)aSibAlOcNd and is one of the Sr2Si7Al3ON13 phosphors. This material is in the form of crystals having an average grain size of 20 to 100 μm and an aspect ratio of 2 to 4. This material emits light having a peak in the wavelength range of 580 to 660 nm when excited by light having a wavelength of 250 to 500 nm. The present embodiment also provides a light-emitting device comprising the phosphor material in combination with a light-emitting element and a green-emitting phosphor. |
