abstract |
The present invention discloses a method for formulating inks based on CIGS nanoparticles that can be processed to form a film having a crack-free limit (CFL) of 500 nm or greater, the method comprising: dissolving or dispersing Cu (In, Ga)S2 and Cu(In,Ga)Se2 nanoparticle; mixing the nanoparticle solution/dispersion and adding oleic acid to form an ink; depositing the ink on the substrate; annealing to remove the organic group of the ink formulation a film having a CFL of 500 nm; and a repeated deposition and annealing process to form a CIGS film having a thickness of □1 μm. The film thus produced can be incorporated into a thin film photovoltaic device. |
