abstract |
The present invention provides a lubricant having excellent heat resistance and lubricity, and a magnetic recording medium having excellent practical properties. The present invention uses a lubricant containing an ionic liquid formed of a sulfonic acid having a perfluoropolyether skeleton and an aliphatic amine having a linear hydrocarbon group having 10 or more carbon atoms. By using the lubricant to form the lubricant layer 15, the lubricating property can be excellent, and practical properties such as transition property, abrasion resistance, and durability can be improved. |
