abstract |
The present disclosure relates to an anode active material for a lithium secondary battery, a lithium secondary battery including the anode active material, and a method of preparing the anode active material. A specific example of the disclosure of the present application is to provide an anode active material for a lithium secondary battery comprising a composite of SiOx-carboxymethylcellulose (CMC)-carbon nanotube (CNT), wherein the CNT system is via CMC is bonded to SiOx (0 < x □ 1); and, carbon-based materials. Furthermore, another specific example of the disclosure of the present application is to provide a method of preparing an anode active material for a lithium secondary battery comprising using a carbon nanotube (CNT) and a carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) to SiOx. (0 < x □ 1) surface treatment to form a composite of SiOx-CMC-CNT; and mixing of the SiOx-CMC-CNT composite with a carbon-based material. The anode active material and the lithium secondary battery disclosed in the present application provide improved battery capacity and improved life characteristics compared to those having SiO surface treated only with a carbon nanotube. |
