abstract | An analog-to-digital conversion device includes a main analog-to-digital converter and a sub-scale digital converter. The main analog-to-digital converter is used to convert the analog input signal into main digital data, and the auxiliary analog digital converter is used to convert the same analog input signal into auxiliary digital data. The main analog-to-digital converter has a first resolution and a first conversion speed, and the auxiliary analog-to-digital converter has a second resolution and a second conversion speed. Wherein the second resolution is lower than the first resolution, and the second conversion speed is faster than the first conversion speed. The main analog-to-digital converter generates master digital data by performing a continuous progressive program. Here, the continuous progressive procedure includes a fast tracking step based on the value of the auxiliary digit data. |
