The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device using a specific liquid crystal composition and a color filter, the color filter containing an organic pigment having a specific particle size distribution.nThe present invention provides a liquid crystal display device which prevents a decrease in voltage holding ratio (VHR) of a liquid crystal layer, an increase in ion density (ID), and a problem of poor display such as whitening, misalignment, and residual image.nIn the liquid crystal display device of the present invention, since the voltage holding ratio (VHR) of the liquid crystal layer is lowered, the ion density (ID) is increased, and display defects such as residual images are suppressed, the IPS mode and FFS for active matrix driving are particularly used. The mode liquid crystal display device is useful, and can be applied to liquid crystal display devices such as liquid crystal TVs, screens, mobile phones, and smart phones. |
