This case provides a battery pack with improved performance. The battery pack has a cathode material, which is prepared by a formulation methodology including a composite titration method of MjXp, wherein Mj is selected from at least one cation of an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal, and a transition metal group, and j represents the cation of the MjXp per mole. The number of ears; and Xp is an anion or polyanion selected from the group consisting of IIIA, IVA, VA, VIA and VIIA, may be one or more anions or polyanions, and p represents the anionic mole number of the MjXp per mole. The battery pack has a discharge capacity of at least 120 mAh/g at the 1000th cycle at an IC discharge rate of from at least 4.6 volts to at least 2.0 volts. |
