A video codec can reconstruct a residual signal of a predictor color component generated using motion prediction. The reconstructed residual signal of the predicted sub-color component can include the reconstructed residual sample value of the predicted sub-color component. Additionally, the video codec can reconstruct the residual sample values of the predicted sub-color components to predict residual sample values for a different predicted color component. |
