abstract |
Systems, devices, and methods for displaying images are disclosed herein. One such device includes an input, subfield extraction logic, sub-frame generation logic, dark sub-frame detection logic, and output logic. The input is configured to receive image data associated with an image frame. The secondary field exporting logic is configured to derive at least one color secondary field of the received image frame. The sub-frame generation logic is configured to generate a plurality of sub-frames for each of the at least one derived color sub-picture field. The dark sub-frame detection logic is configured to identify dark sub-frames. The output logic is configured to suppress an output of the dark sub-frame in response to identifying a dark sub-frame and modify and at least one other sub-picture based on a timing value associated with the identified dark sub-frame One of the boxes is associated with the display parameter. |
